Eating Vegan - Mamavation Monday

Hello all! Was thinking over the weekend that I'm gonna start cutting out the meat (not completely tho) cuz I do tend to eat too much of them. So I was looking at some recipes and found so many of them sounding good. I'm hoping it will be good as y'all know I'm very picky when it comes to fruits and veggies. I even wanna try a green smoothie. A smoothie with a couple of fruits then add some spinach in it. I hate spinach but from what I hear, you don't really taste it. We'll see if that's true or not. I do know that when my gram makes her stuffing for the turkey, she blends her carrots, celery & onions along with bread and eggs. I don't like onions when they're in bits but I LOVE her stuffing. Why? Cuz its been blended so fine that there's no bits for me to bite into. So if I have no problem with eating the onions that way, I just might have no problem drinking that smoothie.

Today was my weigh-in. I didn't lose any weight again (338lbs)! Not sure why but I'm guessing it's cuz I've been swollen since Saturday. My feet and legs are double the size. Yuck! I might have to take a rest today but I need to get to 10,000 steps. Been doing that since Friday. I gotta keep up with that. *smiles* Maybe I can just walk in place while watching tv for awhile. I do know I'll be going shopping later so I don't wanna overdo myself & not be able to walk tomorrow. There have been days when I can't even walk cuz of the pain. I think it's all from the accident few months ago. Sighs. So I know I really can't overdo myself which is why I hadn't been using my wii. I miss using it. :( Better to be safe than sorry. Ok, gonna try and move a little. I did take my son up to the bus stop. Finally, it stopped raining! All week last week, I had to drive up to the stop. But today, we got to walk up. Whoo hoo! Plus, it's supposed to be nice this week so gonna keep taking him up. So take care and have a great day! Don't forget to keep drinking your water!

Mamavation Monday - Been so long

It's been so long since I had been exercising, eating right and drinking tons and tons of water. I had a wake-up call couple weeks ago when the scale showed 354lbs. That's when I started counting my points from Weight Watchers and eating right. Been trying to eat more food that's better for me to eat. Been looking around for yummy recipes trying to eliminate lots of sugar and oil/butter. Over the weekend, I bought some Larabars. Oh my goodness! I love it! It's all natural! The one I tasted so far was the Cashew Cookie. It only had cashews and dates. I believe it is 100 calories. I recommend it. *smiles* I've been drinking tons of water again. Been drinking over 160 oz of water cuz of my weight. I'm working my way back to 10,000 steps a day. It's after 4pm and so far I've gotten over 6000 steps. Whoo hoo! Now all I need to do is keep going and get another 4000 steps. Oh, yes, I did weigh myself today. I'm at 338lbs. Same as I was on Friday. I think I didn't lose any over the weekend cuz I was at my uncle's for the weekend. Friday was my son's birthday so had to celebrate with him. Saturday, I didn't get as much steps I wanted to get cuz my son was performing. It was a long drive from my uncle's to the middle school. Reason for that was so my grandparents could go and see the play while my uncle played music somewhere else. But seriously, I think I did a great job cuz I didn't gain any weight. *smiles* My gram loves to try and feed me. LOL. I had to tell her no to a lot of stuff. If I'm gonna be going up every weekend this summer, I better be taking my own food with me. I look forward to the day I weigh 325 again. I'm aiming for that weight by the time my son gets out of school. Then it's off to 300 lbs and I was planning for that to be by the end of summer. *smiles* Think I can do it? I KNOW I can do it. I'm so glad to be back! I've wasted enough time. It's time to get back to living life again!

Don't Quit

When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,

I AM BACK!

Hello all! Yes, I AM BACK! So much has been happening in my life lately. Was in a car accident which resulted me in gaining weight. Had gone up to 354lbs. Am down to 338lbs. Yep, had to start all over again and that's ok cuz this time I WILL MAKE IT! After the accident, I pretty much blanked out on life. I stopped moving. Stopped counting points. Didn't do anything. I ended up with a wake-up call when I saw the scale saying 354lbs. I was like OMG, what the hell happened to me. So I had to focus again and start counting points and start moving. Tho I hadn't really been moving til this past week, I started counting points for Weight Watchers. I'm now working on getting back to walking over 10,000 steps a day. At moment, I'm getting over 5000 steps. Before I started moving again, I was getting bout 1500-2000 steps a day. I just had to start moving again. My goal is to be down to 300lbs by the time summer ends altho I would LOVE it if it was by the time my son gets out of school (June 14th). *smiles* Just had to say I'M BACK and this time, for good!
